01 / Problem statement

A training wall deserved a more accessible brain.

Popular climbing-board systems use illuminated holds to guide a route, but proprietary hardware can make the experience expensive to reproduce at home. This project began with a clear challenge: create a driver capable of bringing the same responsive visual language to a personal wall at a fraction of the cost.

02 / Solution implementation

A purpose-built driver for a custom wall.

I developed an LED-matrix driver that could map individual holds, manage the required channels, and make routes easy to read at a glance. The work pairs the practical electronics needed to operate the matrix with a layout that can grow alongside the wall itself.
